Quilt donation raffle

On Tuesday, July 7, 2015 the Carrabelle Lighthouse Association was presented with a beautiful handmade bowtie quilt by members of the Lanark Village Wandering Star Quilt Guild. Every year the Guild selects an organization to receive a quilt in support of their work in the community. They also donate quilts to hospice and local veterans.

The Carrabelle Lighthouse Association will be selling raffle tickets for the quilt, with the goal of raising $1,000 to be added to the funds raised for rebuilding the Pirate Ship Carrabella playground at Crooked River Lighthouse Park. Tickets will be $2.00 each or three for $5.00 and will be available at the lighthouse museum or purchased from members of the Carrabelle Lighthouse Association.  If we are close to our fundraising goal by then, the drawing for the winning ticket will take place on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2016 at the annual Lantern Fest event.

The drawing date has been changed to Florida Lighthouse Day 2016 - in mid-April.
